Set upon a hand-carved oak frame, stained with a satin varnish to enhance the natural medullary rays as well as the deeper colours and dark tones that emerge from within the organic grain of the oak.

Like all natural materials, oak has inherent disparities in colour and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Love Story Velvet Bench will have its own unique variation that will include knots, black lines, colour difference, tiger grain, medullary rays, colour variation or shadowing.
